Hey,
I ordered my exhaust through supercheap. Lukey Catback 2.5" no resi. sounds sweet. Cops made there decision it was not a stock exhaust because i had a tip put on the end before they even heard the exhaust (dumbasses) but thats besides the point.
My mate wants the exact same. Although his car is a VS V6 III Statesman. So we went to Supercheap and asked for one. They told us Lukey don't make them and they couldn't find anything about them, Lukey told them that apparently?
So my question is: Where the hell do we buy what he wants? Does the series I and II fit the same as the III? it has IRS. I suppose they would? But wouldn't Lukey know that?
Am i supid for thinking mabey a IRS VS Commodore exhaust would fit it? I Don't think it would because the statesman is longer? but perhaps the headers and the cat come out further to compensate. And the other mufflers are the same size as the commodores?
Cheers.
a normal irs exhaust wont fit it because of the longer wheelsbase im pretty sure, most exhaust places will be able to knock up a custom 2.5" with no resi, my old one on my vs exec was custom and my new one on my stato is 2.5" and i got that done at an exhaust shop but it dont look custom, it has a resi on it but which will be getting taken off bery soon![]()
MY RIDE - BAGGED CAPRICE

What about a wagon exhaust. Or maybe not because even though they were built on the same platform (I think) Im not sure of any irs wags.
as has been said, and exhaust joint could make one up for you/your mate.
No, a noraml commo exhaust wont fit, due to centre pipe being longer on the abrges, and utes.
Wagon, i "think" they will fit, but dont quote me on that.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.
wagon wouldnt fit because Statesmans have IRS and wagons wont. any VS Stato exhaust will fit it
You only need a IRS commo exhaust and fit an extra 4/5" inch of pipe before the muffler
