Hey on my vs caprice i went to replace my rear shocks the other day and noticed there is a socket that a plug plugs onto and cable or hose comes off the back of the plug the socket is about halfway down the shocks, just wondering what this it for as my new shocks didnt have this socket on them

Air ride suspension dude it can be disconnected all it does is if the you have a full car the sensor on the rear K frame piks that up it pumps air into the shocks and sets it back at standard ride height. just make sure you unplug the air compressor it wont bring up any codes or anything like that. its completly external to the cars wiring loom
lol never knew they had that feature on the shocks i wonder what its been doing sinse i put the bags in the back
