bad idle when cold
hey guys,
my vs v6 statesman has just started playing up.
when engines cold, ill start it up, everything seems fine but the idle drops and it sounds like its lumping over. give it a rev and its fine, no stutters or anything.
it drives perfect but i pull up at a set of lights and it'll idle perfect for about 15 secs then the idle sorta jumps (almost like the air con just cuts in) and it starts idling rough agian.
on operating temp its fine.
no faults are coming up either
any ideas would be appreciated

Idle control solenoid would be my guess

thanks mate. was thinking that, might pull throttle body apart this weekend and give it all a clean.
What Clubby said or a small vacuum leak somewhere check for cracked hoses or if any have come off especially the one on the bottom of the Tb

thanks guys. pulled apart throttle body today cleaned it all up. also cleaned air flow meter. also tried a spare IAC solenoid still no change tho. thinkin maybe coolant temp sensor. also noticed today big puff of black smoke on start up.
maybe leaky injector?
still drives perfect just not idling smooth
still no codes either
what ya reckon, any ways to test injectors?
getting worse today. doing it while hot too. had a sus and found a leaking injector. so theres my problem.
