    Default help needed motor change over questions

    Hello,

    I currently have a VR Commodore that has a blown motor (V6) and a also have a VS SS that is written off. Can you please tell me what is needed to put the VS SS running gear into the VR.

    Could you's please write me a list

    it sound simple that i may be in the end lol
    just like mods to car or even simple things like changing oil uno you may not put the seal on the oil filter and you have a oil leak lol

    as far as i know you will need
    v8 k frame
    v8
    v8 gearbox
    tailshaft
    engine bay wiring loom
    ecu
    v8 dash cluster
    brakes might be bigger on v8..?
    v8 radiator
    front struts and springs from a v8

    Cant see it being that hard tho you will need a mod plate also not a prob if you swap every thing from the ss

    pretty sure that the under dash is the same and the engine bay loom shouuld plug inot the loom but dont quote me
