bought what i thought was a VR SS Diff
because i wanted the lsd and after getting it home realised it had this extra module on it.
im unsure of what its for.
anyone have any knowledge? cheers guys.

If I had a guess...Either the IRS sensor or ABS sensor.

I have the same thing on the ass end of my Grange. My grange has a Hydratrack diff.
47 made with the 185i engine $62,500 new
35 made with the 215i engine $73,500 new
Its from a caprice, grange or senator with a self leveling suspension.. Only works if you have the factory air shockers
