Automatic Transmission Problem (Stick Shifting)!

The problem is, when i stick shift (manually change gears), it won't stay in the selected gear when i come off the accelerator, just drops to neutral. As soon as i accelerate, the selected gear engages (it is kinda fun, just fricken annoying and i miss having the compression on big hills).

I have given it a hard time and i regularly stick shifted it for about 3 years which ended up with 2nd-3rd solenoid having to be replaced after 2 years, this latter problem happened about a year after the solenoid replacement. In drive it behaves as expected and it is also regularly serviced and has no other issues.

Any idea's on wtf could be causing this rather unusual behaviour??

mine does the same aparently i need to replace the gear box coz its stuffed been told pull the transmission dipstick out and smeell it to c if it smells burnt if it does aparently time for a new box
