cv joint boot replacement on irs diff

i was just wondering how hard it is to replace the boot on the cv on the diff as theres only the 2 bits where the cable ties are left. could someone do me a how to please. i would rather do it myself to give me something to do. and save a bit of cash

Hi man, it's easy just undo the allen bolts on each end of the shaft and the shaft drops out, regrease it and stick the new boot on the stick it back in. Try not to jack the car up by the diff if possible

its that easy lol thought it might have been harder. i might do both sides why im at it and service the diff at the same time lol

I'm stuck i can't see how to get the old boot off i've undone the alen key bolts and dropped it down but i don''t know how to get the old boot off HELP ME PLEASE

i have pulled the hole axle thing out and still cannot work it out

hahah ok! congratualtions on completing it , some of those allen keys can be very tight but I didn't want to scare you

yeah ultra tight lol i just used ring spanner to get em undone draggin myself back n forth undoing that first really tight bit lol was all good fun when i finished
