    Default 96 VS starting issues

    Hi there.
New to the forum and urgently need help please.
My commodore only starts when it wants to. When I turn the key, the lights come on but nothing happens, no noise nothing. Then I try it again while pumping fuel, and only after several tries it starts.
Any clues to what this might be?

    Thanks!

dont pump the pedal its fuel injected, just turn the key too the accessories on and wait a second before trying too crank.
could also be a dying battery in your remote

Try moving the T bar from P to N and try starting there - it could be the inhibiter switch. Also make sure the red flashing immobiliser light below the wireless goes out when the ignition is on - if still flashing the car will not start as the light flashes when immobiliser is on.

What hako said . A loose/bad battery terminal can also stop it from cranking, try giving them a wriggle to see if they are loose. Also take them off and give it all a go over with wire brush.
