v8 gas/petrol

G'day guys me again,

My v8 stateo is on duel fuel. I have to start it on petrol because it won’t start on gas. I got in it today and it won’t start on petrol everything turning just no fire. So I eventually got it started on gas drove it and tried swapping from gas to petrol while driving no go.

Got it home tried to swap to petrol while running and it coughed and spluttered wanted to go but stalled. Start up on petrol same again wants to go but dies. Run ok on gas though what do you guys reccon.

Any help is appreciated.

Fuel pump gone? That's my guess.

Ok i dont know much about engines where is it located? i think i can here it when i turn the key to on.

The fuel pump is located inside the petrol tank at the rear of the car. When you turn the key to accessories, you should be able to hear it priming (kind of like a whiring sound).
