VS/VT trans in a VR?

Hey, i've done a quick search but no leads, was just wondering would a V6 automatic transmission from a VS or VT fit into a VR and work fine or are there issues with engine compatibility and ECU? any info would be great.

The VS one is the same transmission, the VT one is slightly different but will go in with some modification.

There will still need to be some work done to get the VS one to fit, but it's really only sensor changes.

depends what trans you have now the early or late vr one.if its the late vr trans the vs one is a direct swap over

best way to check is to look at how many pins are on the main loom, 12 or 13, you will need the same.

Well its a November 94 series two VR Calais weather or not that helps, may have to get the VIN number checked out, what would i be looking for if i did that?
