Question my auto vr trans prob!

    hay guys
i was just cruzin the streets and i found a nice dirt pile and thought that the owner would like me to weed it lol yeah so i did a circle drift/burn outs and driving off my trans keeped reving and would'nt change gears but this has happend a little when i got the car going i would dump it in first it just revs to red line after smokin the tyres a bit at the lights.
i just got this car going after getting it off my mum but she never drives hard also only has 180xxx on the clock, i have only driven her for only a week
apparently its the trans lol we all know that now lol but its either rooted completely or a vavle has broken over time and wont pump the fluid to the next gear
if it is the trans would could this cost to rebuild or would it be easier to buy a second hand unit?
its a vr series 2 95 0r 96 model v6 3 gears what other trans can fit without any mods what so ever so just a swap?
spend 10 bucks on glad wrap and while they sleep, wrap there doors up and turn off there alarm for work then wake them up a few hours late and watch then run around getting ready for work then they find there car glad wraped lol

Don't get angry, but I kind of feel you get what you deserve in these situations.

Go with a cheap 2nd hand one because I sense you will be breaking a lot more in the near future...that is if you keep your license long enough

Seeing how you drive it, get a second handy from the wreckers for 300-400$, because doing skids and burnouts is going to wreck any auto transmission so no point spending 2k on a new one.

Or once you get sick of changing autos, probably after about number four, just do a manual conversion like I did lol

any vehicle can be deadly in the wrong hands. i had my vr written off last month while it was parked out the front because of some IDIOT like yourself doing burnouts and lost control and side swiped the drivers side. and people wonder why the laws get tougher. do us a favour and hand your license in and take the bus before you kill someone or yourself.

cant guarantee the condition of 2nd hand transmissions, they may be just about to go as well, and you wont be able to tell til its already bolted in. 2 grand for a new (recondition/rebuilt) one.

Go for a 2nd hand unit, that's what I did with my VS. I made sure that I picked the unit I wanted - I just picked one with hardly any oil on it, so I atleast knew it spent its life the right way up and looked after. Though I do agree, there is a chance you would get a crap one (based on age). But for now, while you get the hoon bug out of your system, destroy another cheapy.

hay guys went driving today and when i change gears AUTO from N or P to R or D it fells like the diff holds on to somethink and wont change nicely a sharp grunt and a bita jump from the rear
also but dosent happen to often the diff make a grunt noise when i turn sharp or straighten up after corners since it started today never noticed it before
now i havent done any thrashing just nice driving like i should so i dont know could all my probs be the diff or both(trans and diff)?????????
and its a bit bumpy from the rear more than usual.
now just need the motor to die or blow up then i fully F**KED my car lol please dont happen
