Look for remote key for vr

been look every were for a another 2 button remote key for my girl so we got a key each for the VR.Doe's any one no were i can get a another remote key that will open the doors and turn off the alarm and open the boot.

Your nearist GMH dealership should have them, mister mint [ i think there called that] in some shopping centres have them, also I have seen them on ebay as well.

Yeah, my Father got the three button key from a Mister Minit. Holden is your best bet, but if the remote did not have all those buttons in the first place, there might be a chance that you can't get a key with those buttons to use those extra functions.

go to lock smiths easiest way to get one. thats where i got mine from and it cost me 89 dollars took them about 5 minutes to do it.
holden wanted 160 for the exact same thing and the one from lock smiths is also genuine holden one.

i bought my spare key from holden, got a key guy to cut it, then had to go back to holden to program it. was about $120 all up i think

We just replaced the body control module in our vr, and it came with another key which is programmed to it. If you get a another key you'll have to take it in to get programmed to suit your BCM.

Your best bet is to go to your local holden dealership, or most higher end locksmiths sell them. You will end up at both anyway as holden don't cut the blades, they only program they key head by plugging a tech 2 into your car. From memory the VR doesn't come with the wiring for a remote boot release, i think they only bought that in in the VT models and up possibly the higher models of VS. As a guess you will be looking at somewhere between $100-150.
