been lokking at some high ratio rockers for me VS v6, the ones im looking at are the mace 1.9.1 ratio (i know i can get the 1.98.1 ratio but there a bit dearer lmao)
just a few q's:
1,are they worth it?
2, would i get bad fuel econamy or would it stay teh same? better?
3, are they just machined down normal rockers?
4 would they make the exhaust any louder?
and would i need new valve springs or are the stock one ok for it?
now me vs is in pretty good condition with 111 000 on the clock with the following mods dun
CAI
plenum spacer
2.5 inch exhaust
corvette servo
polished throttle body
i do have a greenfoam chip but not useing it atm due to needing high octane fuel and its friggen dear haha
any input would be welcom
thanks
worth it, depends on your cash, fuel econ about the same, with 1.9:1 stock parts are fine, with higher ratios you can buy longer push rods, i know FIT rework stock ones for 1.9:1, stock is 1.65:1, exhaust can sound a bit throatyer
yella terra ones are slightly better man, i got he 1.95.1 yella terra ones and there deff worth it, i have a few more mods then ya but u will still notice it
cheers for teh feedback, ive been doing some more resech and have decided that i will get some, in near future.
also some extractors, then thats bout it for this car hehehe already lost me license haha,(5 months to go yaya)
thanks
Value for money $$$$ i would go for mace and there are a bit cheaper than that other companies too
NEVER LATE IN A 355ci
Or you can wait for our 2.15:1 ratio rockers and cylinder heads LOL![]()
hmm i have been thinking about upgrading the rockers in my vs as well, so you really got my attention when you mentioned 2.15:1 rockers... when should we be expected these little babies on the market and around how much?
They should be available on the market in about a weeks time. Just have to schedule in manufacturing these items![]()
As for price not a 100% sure at the moment
