-- ABS Light on! Help ! --

My ABS light on. I have a VR SS
5.0L. I've Checked both fuses under the bonnet and also the brake fluid levels. Any other advice would be very welcome. cheers

Yes , but i've only owned it for two days.

there's a chance the previous owner may have changed your diff and the new diff may not have the abs gear sensor thingys that sit on the sides of the diff .......not sure how to explain it i'll try to find a pic


ok i was trying to explain the thing circled in red. and the bit circled in yellow is the sensor from what i can tell

He may have a solid rear which will be different to the one from sir ryno_vrx.
First check would be to remove the main battery terminal for 30 seconds to (possibly) reset the fault light. If that doesn't fix it then check the ABS connectors where they meet the hubs as it's not uncommon for them to get knocked off or damaged.

is the abs light the only light on? cause when my voltage regulator on my alternator went it sent a battery warning and a abs off warning...
