Dosn't happen for me (I hit mine when the fuel gage gets stuck)

Does the hand brake light (or any of them flicker)?

What sort of car do you have? (is level 3 standard on it - or has it been installed since?)
Sounds like a loose wire tbh...

Actually... Before we connected a wire on my level 3 (I installed it) the hand brake chime would beep, but not flash... Perhaps there is a bad connection... I would definately check there are no loose connections AND fix any dry joints (re-solder them)

I'm 99% sure this will be your issue, a simple bump is enough to manipulate a "dry joint" (cracked solder) - This is why we tap on the fuel/temp gage.
It will only get worse over time.

This is an issue I've been looking to fix for a while. I've installed a few L3 clusters into VR's of late and a few of them have this issue (handbrake chime).

I cant find anything withing the wire diagrams that say "oh put this wire here and sound will stop"

Hot Engine Beeps on L3 upgrades

I thought it was hot engine at first ^^ but it's the handbrake for sure.

An auto elec said he can fix it up for $80. Is there anyway you can disable the chime? Just for now until i get it fixed.

5 min job to pull the chime out. Pull the cluster out and take teh front lens off. The chime sits in the middle at the front and just slides out (has 2 prongs).

    Chime ends.
