    hey mate,
check THISout, dead easy and you will still be able yo fully move your seats (you wont be able to if you put the box behind the seats)

Either way you are gonna be loosing quite a bit of seat space and it'll sound crap. Theres just not enough room in the cab m8.

the only way i can think of that you could have it your way is to cut a big roun hole out of the back firewall. but you would probly get difected..

Before i had mine i wanted the same as you, but i made that sub box and put it in and i regret nothing. I only have an 8" in mine and it still sounds great because of where it is, and you dont loose cab space.

Why not just go with a decent set of 6.5" splits and an amp to run them...sound deadening would help a fair bit too. I remember doing a VS ute a few years back and its sounded awesome, especially after he came back because there wasnt enough bass so we added 2 layers of sound deadening...

thanks guys. i might think about it for a lil while and decide what im gonna do... the current speakers are pretty decent but distort when loud with lots of bass, sound deadening sounds like a top idea.
