Default alternatives too transgo shift kit?

just looking for alternatives too the transgo lvl 2 + corvette servo kit that everyone loves here , i was originally just going too go ahead with that but upon further research they can be bad news for old transmisions ( mines 201 000km old as far as i know ) , looking for an alternative that isnt so harsh on the trans.
doesnt need to chirp into second or give me whiplash or any of that , just something that will hold a bit firmer and give quicker/harder gear changes.
ps. my trans has no problems at all and doesnt slip , id just like too keep it that way.
cant afford a new trans in the future and i intend too keep the car for a while.
car has delcowizzid tune , extractors , cai and 2.5 catback exhaust.
funnily enough none of the transmision places i have rung around adelaide will not fit a transgo into a VS trans due too various reasons so.... alternatives?

4L60e Single Stage Shift Kit - $70.00 : Shiftkits Australia, Performance Shift Kits and Vehicle Electronics

mite be worth a look at, fraction of the price also.

am thinking about putting one into mine as i dont want to mechanically change the box at this stage as it will be a pain in the ass if i want to sell my car and return it back to stock but this looks simple effective and easy to install and take out and only 70 buks so it wont hurt the bank to much if you dont like it, and it can also be turned on and off. Actually i mite get one right now lol

ive allready got a tuned memcal that gives firmer shifts so that may be essentially the same thing.

whats your opinion on the b & m ones , are they the same as the transgo in which they may be not a good idea on a 200k trans.

just the shiftkit and no servo will crispen the shifts enough they are sold on the idea that they improve shifts and fix all the bad issues that were built into them the corvete servo is just an add on that most do its not really needed you will still get far better harder shifts without it thats why they shift even harder with the servo in on top

No idea, i don't like shift kits, had one in my old car, didn't like it, never bothered again.

so is it the corvette servo that is the cause for the slamming into second? in that case i may be ok without the servo?

yip thats why they shift real hard at full throttle will shift better with just the kit compared to stock and it increases oil flow round the trans and cooler aiding in better lubrication and cooling
