Cant get abs codes - help

I'm trying to get abs error codes by bridging 5th and 12th pins on the connector.
but i get nada. I can can get engine codes fine but i need abs codes as the lights on, i am certain i had the correct pins and they were shorted. is this an error in itself?:

also on the engine code code tip - at first i got 31 - what is this code


but on second attempt i got nothing but 12s which i assume is all good.

u atr in the right place lut the light go thru 12 three times then next three cycles are fault 1 next three sets fault two etc then it finishes back at 12. Code31 is RHR wheel sensor fault

U are in the right place if the ABS light flashes, remeber the sets of flashes repeat three times before changing to the next fault and when it finishes it ends back at 12. Code 31 is RHR wheel sensor. Rember pin 12 gives ABS codes not engine ECU codes.
