Steering question

Hey,

The past week I have noticed a small knocking sound coming from the front left side of my car when I am maneuvering the car at slow speeds, and only on right hand turns, (e.g. doing a uturn) ...

I recently had new springs put in the front of my car, and the bloke at beaurepairs told me everything was sweet under there (but who knows how thorough he checked the car), a few weeks before that, i had extractors fitted as well (if that helps)

So yeah would just like some ideas of what it could be... the car is coming up to the 90k mark

I get a similar knocking/scraping noise on tight RH turns at low speed - mine was/is the wheel rim (alloy) hitting the tierod end possible due to the car sitting lower than "normal".
Have a look inside each rim for any scrape marks.

Could be that your link pin bushes have deteriorated or even you strut bolts to your steering knuckle have come loose or were not torqued up properly ?
