ve 18x8 on 93 vr
i got a 1993 vr, and just brought ve 18 x8 wheels everyone said they would fit. the rear fits fine but the front when i turn full lock right it rubs. any ideas wat i could do really want these on there. thanks
what size tyres have you got on there? if they are the original VE tyres, then that is more than likely going to be the cause of the rubbing

How about full lock left??? I presume it's the front that rubs? If it is only happening one way then something in the front of your car is out of whack. Correct that problem and you will be a long way there.Originally Posted by Freerider09

fuul lock left seems fine any clue wat it could b then? the tyres are 245/45R18 96V Bridgestone Potenza
proper tyre size for 18" wheels on VR/VS is 235/40/18....the 245/45 is too high and wide so would more than likely be the source of the rubbing

1st step would be to get a wheel alignment to make sure everything is tracking properly. Explain that 1 side rubs to the operator.

Impossible to say until we work out if your wheels are in the right spot. I'd be leaning towards no.

Had alignment done everything good tthere. So u got any other ideas
