VS Super 6 Coil Packs

Hi

Quick intro... I put a super charged VS V6 into my hilux

What are the symptoms of dodgey coil packs my truck is ideling like ***en shit?

I want to take it back to the shop but the coil packs are have rusty points. My mechanic asked me to fix that and have the injectors ultrasonically cleaned first.

Should I clean them up with emry paper or buy new ones?

Where can I buy super six coil packs from I heard they are different to standard packs.

Is that true?

Yes the super 6 coil packs are diffenet, But you can still use the normal standard one's if you like. cuz they are alot more $$$$ to but super 6 ones. You can even buy MSD ones too

This has been covered a lot before but in short the super6 coils are the best ones with the MSD's being only slightly stronger than the std ones.
If you use high revs a lot then you do really need the super 6 coils but if you cruise more and use the low down torque of the super6 as your main use then any of the oils would do.
Under the super6 coils the slots where they plug onto the DFI are blue where the std ones are white.
If your coils are rusty it sounds like they have been under water maybe the engine has been in a flood in which caes the DFI may be stuffed as well.
