Code 44 - Oxygen Sensor Lean (O2)??

have a VS ute with a v8 auto

it has logged this code? should i replace the sensor itself?

or is it something else as in the tune?

it is also a dual fuel car. running on gas

I'd erase the code and try again in a week (unless the engine is missing). The sensor is probably OK - it's just reporting what it's found....maybe a blocked injector or maybe nothing.
Just re-read your post - if it's happened on gas then someone else might have a clue....but first I'd erase the code and check later.

My mates rodeo thats on gas had the engine light come on so his house who is a mechanic for holden took it to work and ran the diagnositics on it, it came up with a faulty O2 sensor and he just made it so the light wouldn't come on anymore and told him not to worry about it, he said that it might just be the gas throwing it out. but as hako said erase it and see if it comes back it could just be an old code.
