    Default Painting Rotors

Hello ive just painted my callipers silver today using a "how-to" but i havent come across a how-to to paint my hubs. Ive got black paint to cover up the all the rust. Can anyone help me out with what to do?

Are you sure you want to paint your rotors? The paint will just strip off when you brake.

Just do what a lot of people do, paint the whole lot, the paint will rub off the contact points and it will smell for a couple of drives till its gone.

sorry i meant mostly the hubs, the is a little bit of rust along the bottom and top of the rotors aswell. Ill try and keep the paint away from the rotors as much as i can and just keep it on the hubs

dont worry about the rust, buy some engine spraypaint when you put new rotors on paint them before hand, i just stick some sticky tape on where the pads will contact so it doesn't get paint on it the pads will wear it round, it need to be paint that can handle high temperature otherwise it will just flake off.

I wont be putting on new rotors anytime soon so i will just be painting them. I bought VHT caliper paint in silver for the calipers and black for the hubs so that should do the trick hopefully. Thanks for the tips
