    Default green bulbs under driver side, passenger dash and centre console/rear bulbs

    hey all
    was wondering what people have done to change the colour of them from the crappy green colours?

    apart from changing the globe what has worked and came out a good colour. i want mine blue!

    you can get the coloured sleeve things they work really well in blue, thats all i used in mine prior to those lights not wanting to turn off ever

    u simply replace them with a L.E.D, like 10 bucks for 4 on ebay

    under the dash,better off using a small neon,that way the whole space is light up and not just a spot in the footwell.

    well i dont want it being too over the top. just wanting it to look stock. not wanting it to be overly bright.. shall take that into consideration though

    I tryed the blue globe covers,turned out dull and crap
    I tryed replacing normal with LED,turned out a very bright circle in the footwell,also looked crap.
    I tryed the neons and they worked nicely. Not too bright and lights up the whole footwell. Do it right and you cant see the neon globe and i simply cut the factory wiring and neon wiring,splice them together.

    I also went with the blue globe covers and dont think they look much different and still kinda green. So Ill be getting some led globes in blue for it while we are playing suspension and various other issues over the next week or so.

    weird mine looked good with the covers, but replaced them with 8" neons as they were out for $5 each at the time and now it looks amazing and cant see them at all

    ok just fitted some new style 5 smd superbright leds into my footwell lights but they wont turn off, do i need to add a resistor or something into the circuit? thanks
