shift kit

hey guys,
im considering putting a stage 2 shift kit in my car.
but i was wondering if anyone has put one in themselves???
cause i was wondering if you need to drop the gear box out and what else needs to be done to do it yourself?
also i know you should do teh corvette servo.
but ive herd of people going the bigger trans cooler is this neccesary???

Dropping the gearbox is not required, i haven't installed it myself but i know you can install the shift kit while your gearbox is still in place.

You can do it, i wouldn't suggest it though, really isn't an enjoyable job at all.

If you go to the Transgo web site you can find a (140Mb) video on how to install their shift kit. B and M have the instruction manuals in Pdf for their shift kits on their site.
