external fuel pump to suit VR engine?

Hi,

I'm wondering which fuel pump i could use for my E21 BMW with a VR 3.8 engine in it. Needs to be external.

Any ideas?

my first guess is a pump out of or for a vl .

I thought the VL had two pumps, one internal and one external?

whats wrong with the BMW pump? too small? just grab any external pump that can supply the load and will fit the BMW pipes, do a little bit of wiring and she'll be right.
