VS V6 Auto gearbox

hi .. does anybody know if there is ang diffence between a s1 and a s2 auto box

the earlier one is a 5HDD and the laster one is a 6HDD and if i can remeber right, it was something to do with the shift soleniad or lockup convertor

Both vs s1 or s2 whether it is for v6, v8 inside the same, only difference in early vs was the cooler line its got 5/16 as were late model is 3/8 as i remember. but not sure on v8 regarding with the cooler line..
