Hey guys;

can anyone fill me in on this error.

Code 43 - Knock Sensor Circuit

I get the power train light on the dash and the oil light, but only this error.

its weird.

What type of car is it? I didnt think the V6's had a knock sensor?

I know that broken engine mounts or any type of tapping in the engine can set off the knock sensor, even though your engine may not be knocking at all.

dead knock sensor or unplugged ide say

Could also be a random fault - I'd reset the ECU by unplugging the engine fuse for 30 secs then drive the car again and see if it re-occurs.
