there is no real limit on a service mate i would start with dumping engine oil, remove oil filter removing box pan, remove fuel filter - holding all fuel within just to turn up the non flow way and shake out into a white or clear clean container, just to get a look at what it has been up against always good to look, replace with new one, then a new set of descent leads, set ngk plugs, any leaks around valve/ rocker cover replace gaskets remove air duct from throttle body and spray all inside make sure it is all retracting nicely, then go back replace pan possible new g/box pan gasket depending on what condition it is in bolt back up (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN YOU DNT NEED TO SWING OFF THESE) just get a nice firm even feel all way round, give eng sump plug a good clean replace washer if needed replace new oil filter remembering to make sure old filter seal is not stll against block easy way to see it is if it aint on the filter and it aint on the ground it must be still held against the block, put a beed of oil around new filter seal wind new oil filter on by hand and do up frmly BY HAND, fill with oil till just over full mark do not start vehicle, new you need to fill tranny remove tranny dipstick and sit a small ended funnel into tube slowly poor around 3 litres dexronIII into funnel then start vehicle slowly run through gears from park through to i think it is 3rd anyways right to the last gear selector then slowly back up do maybe 2 - 3 times make sure hand brake is on and foot on brake (safety reasons) then leave car running and check to see if you have a reading on the stick if no reading at all poor further 1 litre in and again run through gears check level again if you are getting a reading just fill by half litres and you are trying to get level to mid way of the hot level marks but remember each time you add more oil you must run through gears now if you put the correct amount of extra engine oil into engine to allow for filter to fill you should be able to have stopped engine for five checking eng dipstick and it should be almost spot on but if you are a little off not a worry just top up to level and all is fine, should be good to go that is pretty well a full service minus a few things but that is the majority of the work complete mate hope this helps you and other members looking to do full service

mate should have mentioned disreguard tranny service if it is manual ofcourse lol

Another thing I would do is buy this as it will completely protect your engine, you can even lose all your oil and still drive over 1000km, highly recommended as I`ve used it im my V8 and V6 commodores.
