    Default advice on a VS

hey all, im gonna sell my 97 VS series 2 S-pack, cause im gettin another VS but cheaper cause i need some money...

i was just wondering what price use thing i should sell it for...
its worth quite a good bit especially considering the amount of money i put into it to replace heeps of new parts.. but it has never had a serious problem. just little ones that are expensive (discs, power steering rack etc.)...
My machanic told me its in A1 condition... Its got a good system in it.. and all the extras.. nothing at all needs to be done to it.. just serviced & all the rest you can think of...

what do use think i should advertise it for...

Depending on what it has exactly. Mags, lowered, extractors?? Also depends on your km's. If it is just standard (no mags etc.), and average km's (130,000 - 180,000) then id say you would be looking at getting $6500 - $8000 max.

You'd have to be made to sell your VS for another the same, just to save some money after yours has had all that work done and running the way you want it too. Unless you know exactly what work the replacement car has had done to it, it could more likely end up costing you MORE $. After you pay new rego and transfer insurance you could end up having to fix the same problems you already paid to fix in your current VS.

My '95 VS has 364,000k's and I wont sell it for a long time to come unless something serious goes wrong with it. Sure it's had a few simple issues here and there but it still runs perfect and I know exactly what work has already been done to it.

I was looking at one similar to yours but without mags/lowering. Was a manual '95 with 134k. Absolutely immaculate. Sold for 8500 west of brisbane. I would have bought it for 8k
