VS Auto sucking/grinding noise

hey guys,

under acceleration, normally heavy, i can hear this sucking/grinding noise only whilst accelerating.

only happens sometimes, but when it does it sounds like it is coming from the engine bay, or under the passenger footwell in that vicinity.

any ideas?

Probably exhaust manifold gasket leaking or a break in the engine pipe before it meets the cat.
