    Default VR transmission changing problem

    Hi just bought a vr 5.0 and it holds gears until your high in the revs.. checked for kick down clable and nothing so is it electric and is it adjustable or would it be a vacuume type problem?
    Only Oil Comes In 4.0 Litres

    What are you calling high revs?
    PERFORMANCE MODS- JTG Liquid injection, Under driven pulley, Pacemaker extractors, 3" X-force system, Cold air intake, MAF Less tune 267.9 RWKW'S

    I dunno i guess 3/3500 then holds but if you get up to 70/80kph it'll change.

    Its either the pressure control or burnt friction cluchtes that could be the problem,

    How is the motor running? Any problems with it?

    Friend has a VS 5L and had a similar issue. Discovered to be the fuel pump on its way out and the computer telling the gearbox to hold the gear for an unusual amount of time.

    been like it for 12 months he told me so i doubt its the frictions

    bad TPS or larger throttlebody could be a possible.have you checked for error codes at all allways a good place to start
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

    havent checked anything only picked it up a couple days ago.. just took it for a drive and noticed engine light is on so ill see what its saying thanks
