Vs front spring problem :(

Need some help guys. Heard a strange noise comin from the front drivers side, had a look, not to sure how 2 explain it. When the wheel turns hardlock one of the coils in the spring isn't moving in sync with the others and is making a rubbing noise. What is it and how do I fix it!?

Have a good look and see if the inner guard is loose and it could be a bearing or something so maybe jack it up and give the wheel a bit of a jiggle to see if its loose.
P.S whats stronger than death?

hmmm could your spring is broken ? is this strange coil at the top or bottom of the spring ?
