vr v6 auto not starting

my friend brought a vr commodore today. he drove it for about 1-2hour max and it stalled right in my street. we couldnt get it starting again! which is weird

we thought it was the battery but it didnt do nothing

it clicks like the batterys dead no crank over. but the battery is 12.something volts still

check charge wire at the back of the alternator for short out, check starter motor relays as well.

he took it to the mechanic the motor is stuffed
pistons and rings are gone
