Exclamation Clunk In rear of car!?!?

Hey all, the other night when i was driving, i had a few mates in the back seat, and when i was going slow through a car park i heard a few clunks in the rear of the car when going over slight bumps! but it only happens when people are in the back! I dont know what im looking at, so a bit of help would be great!

And also The Rear Right Hand side is lower than the Rear Left! Would this be because of the Fuel tank or something else????

The 1st pis is the rear right & the 2nd is the rear left!

    I have a few,

Is it live axle or IRS?

It could be the shock absorber as they tend to get loose sometimes on either end of the mount, could also be the exhaust, more so though on live axle, as the body fo the car is lowered (Fat people in the back) the exhaust moves closer to the axle witht he body of the car, the axle stays the same height, but the rest of it drops.

    Hope it helps.

My VS is lowered with UL in the rear and SL in the front and is a live axle. I heard the same clunk going over bumps and turning left not right. it sounded like glass bottles tumbling around in the boot. I took it to a mechanic and it turned out to be the exhaust rubbing on the tailshaft. I dont know how he fixed it but i took it to him to fix it and now its all good with no clunking or rubbing. Maybe you should take it to your mechanic to check it out. good luck mate

i had the the same problem it was the sway bar hitting the exhaust i have notice that the newer sway bars are curved around the exhaust where my sway bar is straight
