manual or auto wireing harness ??

how do i tell if i have an auto or manual wireing harness in my car ?

i got a 93mdl vr, had 5 spd manual conversion.

The speed-o isnt working, so my guess the auto harness is still in the car ??

i checked for error codes and it came up with a heap of codes for an AUTO TRANNY ONLY.

so im guessing it still has the auto harness in it ??

on the gear box. near the end and another near the bell housing, passenger side

if its giving you Auto error codes it is because the ECU is tuned for an auto, i'm guesing your engine light is on while you drive?

i dont really know me shit... so wheres the bell housing ?

further up the gearbox there 2 plugs, 1 is plugged in, the other isnt. doesnt look like theres anywhere for it to plug into .. ?

yep my engine light is on while i drive..

and a heap of codes for an auto tranny.

can i get the ecu tuned to a manual ? is that the memcal chip thing.. ??

sure is mate, PM delcowizard or ejukated, they are the people I deal with and have had experience with.

You will probably need to post your memcal to them, then they will re-tune it and return it. They shouldnt take long, but if you cant be without the car for even one minute then just grab a second hand memcal to suit your car and post that to them.
