    Default !!clean vr engine owners post here!!

    hey guys
    im always getting compliments on how clean my engine is in my vr.
    i give it a clean here and there but nothing major.
    was just wondering how it stacks up against other vr engines in terms of how clean it is.
    post some pics up of yous engines and lets have a look

    Here's mine, I havn't cleaned it, its how i bought it. but it's still pretty neat.

    this is mine, just a waterblast and some citrus cleaner, was covered in farm dust.

    Do you get alot of dust sticking to that silicone spray? I used to do that with my engines but found it was making them dirtier after a few drives.

    any tips on cleanin a really dirty engine? will all the wiring b ok if the engine got a degrease and water blast
    anything good in life is either illegal, immoral or addictive

    Just cover any exposed wiring and the coil pack with a rag or plastic bag and still try avoiding spraying water there. Make sure the engine is cold when you clean it, and if its really dirty, attack it with a rag to wipe off the grime.

    These are the cleanest pics of my engine bay I've got, I have plenty of filthy ones or even fire damaged ones though lol.

    But yeah, these are the cleanest, halfway through manual conversion/tidying up a few engine things.

    Use FW1 Fastwax on your engine, everywhere else mind you haha best stuff. haha n i have a vs woops
