    Default Will a cat back from a vr calais fit a vs statesman?

    i just sold a cat back exhaust that fitted a vr calais..the guy that bought it is trying to fit it to his vr/vs statesman..he says it doesnt fit...would it be able to fit? cheers

    not without extending it a couple of inches between the cat and muffler

    Yeah, the Statesman has a long body. If you disn;t say anything about it fitting Statesman, then I gues its his problem.

    Might be interested to see thiss too, particularly Not_An_Abba_Fan's post.
    v6 and v8 exhausts same?

    what a wan***..he is expecting me to pay for the modified exhaust costs..when all he told me is that he had a vs with irs......he is asking 70$...what u guys reckon i shud pay or no?

    did you tell him it was off a vr calais to begin with? if so, he should have done his research and its his problem

    yeh i told him it came off my brothers vr calais..thing is he knows where i work because he picked it up from my work so i dont want him getting pissed off and doing something my factory. =/

    If the Statesman is a VS V6 the front section is completely different and won't fit. If it is a V8 then it will need extending.

    Technically there is nothing wrong with it, it's just not the right one. Sold as is.

    If he keeps pestering you, you might have to just get him to return the exhaust and give his money back, then sell it to somebody who's a little smarter.
