Is my VS good on fuel:S???

Probably not too bad, You should be getting about 11 - 12 L/100 kms around town normal driving. Under 10 on the highway.

From memory they have a 58 LT tank in the VS sedans. 8 Lts left when the fuel light comes on

So that makes it about 13 L/100

I get about 400-450 and i have some mods plus diff change to 3.89.. it all depends how hard you drive it. I get about 11L per 100

I Figured on my trip to QLD a few weeks back (Around 1000k's) I got 100k's to one notch on the fuel gauge, if you know what I mean. Its in eighths, so about 800k's a tank. Guzzles it in city driving though.

Oh my shit!! You all get really good km's out of your tank. I used to get 320km/ tank now I'm getting 365km/tank. I have VS V6 Auto with 3.9 Diff also!! lol And i drive like a granny most the time with a little squirt here and der.

i read in an article that having the aircon on uses about the equivalent of $3 worth of petrol over a full tank

they said it uses about the same amount as wind drag from having the windows down instead of the aircon on so not too worry about it, i think the tests were done in VX commos and dont quote me on exact figures because im just going from memory and i dont have the magazine infront of me right now.
but basicly said in an automatic v6 you get the best economy at 90kmph with the windows up and cruise control on, tests were done on all highway driving ofcourse.

I havent really done any mods to my car and I got 460k's on a tank until the light went on... I was driving like a hoon for that too! It included both town and highway driving.

Now I have a K & N panel filter and OTRCAI.

Just gotta maintain services on the car. ie- fuel filter changed every 50000 k's air filter cleaned or replaced around 50,000k's
Check spark plugs and leads, clean the injectors every once in a while... that kinda stuff.

yeh my vs gets between 400 and 440 thats given it a bit a fair bit lol never found out what it would get driven nana spec the hole tank and i have exhaust and az of tomoro extractors

I hven't filled the tank in the wagon I just got, but I just got 140K's from approx 13L (10.7L/100kms which is alright for city driving lol)
