hey i wondering what would i need 2 do if i was 2 put a ls1 or ls2 in a statesman ive always wanted 2 do it and was weighing up the cost 2 do it or not what would i need 2 change if i was 2 do so or what parts would i need 2 get any ideas would be gud 2 hear

* Conversion Kit C/M - $2000 (including extractors RRP $700)
* Crate Engine without accessories - $5000
* Automatic Transmission w/ converter - $2000
* Manual Gearbox w/ clutch - $3000
* Engine ECU - $800
* Automatic Transmission ECU (if required depending on engine/trans) - $800
* Alternator - $500
* Power Steering Pump - $150 to $400
* Air Con Compressor & bracket C/M - $800
* Pullies, tensioners and various brackets - $600
* Maf sensor with airbox and ducting - $400
* Intank fuel pump, regulator, sender etc - $450
* Engine Loom - $500
* Custom Harness with ECU programming C/M - $400 to $1000
* VL to VS V8 Krame S/H - $50 to $200
* Tailshaft mod (shortened) C/M - $100 to $600 depending on the state of your unis and centre bearing.
* Exhaust including custom extractors (not ones supplied in conversion kit) C/M - $1800 to $4000
