hi have had a problem withe my vs stalling as you pull up to a set of lights when i have taken my foot of the accelerator. I have changed the tps sensor aswell as the both o2 sensors and fixing the earthing problem but still keeps doing it and not showing any code errors please help.
I am currently experiencing the same problem. It can be a whole host of different thing - the prime suspects being fuel pump and the crank angle sensor.
In my case it look like the immobiliser is doing something strange so at the moment it has been bypassed until such time that I can take it to GMH and have installed a new BCM (+ new key heads). Hopefully that will fix it for good.
yeah tell me have also put new plugs and leads and new battery.
I'd be doing the CAS first and then the DFI module. CAS is cheapest to fix.
wouldnt it show up a error code if it was the cas?????
hako is on the mark. Change the cas.
Mine was cutting out and the car cut out at 60kph.no code logged.
Read this and have a read of my links in the thread.
Bit of a read but worth it common fault.

i had a similar problem around a year ago car would start and stall at random turned out to be the cam angel sensor just above the crank pulley and below the water pump the wires going to it where abit corroded so i taped them up and no more problem even did a few long trips 1000+ km and still good.
when its idleing and ya give it a bit of a rev it nearly stalls.
Clean out the throttle body and reset the base idle.

yeah i have read it all but think i am chasing a few problems with this car
ok I understand but u have to start somewhere and the CAS is the go.
And put a new fuel filter on.
Good luck.
Sorry if I`m blunt but that is me.
This is my first computer car and like you I know nothing but I read and asked questions and listened and acted, I have been lucky that I have found good advice.
We are trying to help. I have read and read and hit my head to the wall but some people have helped me and I have helped them.
Bloody cars.

have put new fuel filter on and have ordered cas will let u know. Then on the the next problems of it holding gears sometimes.
hey mate i had the same problem it was the crank angle senor. i'll replace it and give a go i spent heaps on senors, fuel pumps and all kinds of shit but it ended up been the c.a.s
Mate, E10 is ethanol. Why would you use ethanol to clean out water? it turns to gel when it comes into contact with water. Now (if you did have water in there in the first place) You're gonna need a new fuel filter because it will be clogged with jelly-crap. If you have water in the fuel you drop the tank, not try to run it through.
Also only stalling under 1/3 will have zero to do with water in the fuel and more to do with your fuel pump and swirl pot
