no way a 15 will go directly behind a VS fold down seat, a 12 only just fits. due to the rear axle arch, the space betweeen the foor and parcel shelf is just too small. Ive got a 12 directly behind the seat, sealed with foam so it doesnt leak inot the boot cause ive got rear speakers for surround and you dotn want a sub interfering with the underneath of rear speakers. If you have to go with a 15 then the side of the boot right at the back, but will have to get rid of rear speakers so the bass can travle through the holes.

A 15" sub is a bloody big sub.
To increase the reposnce to this question, i'll start another asking people to show there sub displays what ever the size. It'll give you an idea of options and how you can set yours up. Majority of people have 12's from what i have seen.

See how we go with this.

Ok, I’ll get a 12inch sub, but I don’t want it be attached directly to the mid seat, all I want it is when the mid seat is down you can see the sub. I only really want it for looks rather than sound. Anyone got any pics on placement of their sub??

A 15 inch sub will and does fit. Needs to be fitted in a custom box that follows the boot floor contour. Some manfacturers use excessively large baskets and will require the sub to be layed down a little more. Best done by a pro-installer who is handy with fibreglass as its much easier to fibreglass the bottom section thats a ptight fit.

Hey you might have seen this posted on another post.
Simple design with a few angles used. Took about 8 hours from start to finish to make and seems to be pretty effective.

    Running 2 x 10's rather than a single 12 or 15.
Amp is nothing special but have had it for years as a 18th b'day gift, so want to stick with it, 10's seem to be happy with limited power supply. Was a top of the line Amp back in 2002 when i got it.

10's where priced @ 180 each from autobarn and sound good.
