VS Trolly strips/Mouldings

I'm going to take off the S-Pack red and black strips and replace them with solid red SS strips, as the S-pack one's on my car at the moment are starting to come off as the glue disintegrates.

Just a question for those who have done it before, what is involved in taking them off? Do you just sort of peel them off or use the same technique as debadgeing?

Also how to you stick on the new one's to the body? what sort of glue/adhesive?

i havnt taken them off before but i think i remember that it involves running fishing line underneath it, and using a solvent to remove the adhesive
