more power??
i have some mods on my 3.8ltr manuel vs ute..ectractors,exaust,diff gears & lsd, air intake..
what is a good mod that will give me alot more power like roller rockers or a chip?any help is good..cheers
hit up the site sponsor mace for some 1.98 ratio rockers, will give a fair bit of an increase, their site says around 16 to 26 kw increase, depending on other mods.
do you have a 0-100 time for your ute with those mods?

Get a chip, for the price and the amount of gain you make, couldn't be better, hit up greenfoam or delcowizzrd they'rd the best

stock, in a vs the ecotec has 147kw at 4800rpm and 304nm at 3600rpm. no idea what yours has sorry mate haha.
i reckon the rockers will make a quite noticeable difference, will pull harder throughout the rev range due to the increased valve lift, i'll be getting some for my ute very soon.
yeah as scohar said, get a tune done by one of the blokes he mentioned, should be able to get some more out of your current mods and wont cost heaps.
ok..so do any of you boys know how to go about getting this chip done?how to send it away ,where to,how much etc cheers...
how bout a bolt on super charger?
yeah sounds alright,whats involved and what sort of cost would you be lookin at?huge gain?
another site sponsor does bolt on chargers for the ecotec, cheapest one is around the $5000 mark and gives a 55% increase in power.

You asked the question and it was answered in post #4.
You need to send a private message to greenfoam or delcowizzid or one of the others on here that does memcals. They will let you know how its done. Usually you just send it away and pay them the money and they send it back once its done.
I personally don't think theres much gain with intake/exhaust/chip/etc, My car had all of that and a crow cam done when I bought it and I got bored of it pretty quick, so I'm gonna go twin turbo, only costing me around 3k including dyno tuning cause I bought an awesome second hand kit.
For real power I think you need to go F/I either super/turbocharged.
+1 for the Mace Engineering 1.98:1 Roller Rockers =D. Get the rockers first then get the chip. =D it will work better that way because they will chip your car for your mods you have. Delcowizzid is the man you want for a tune for a vs.
