    Default VR Clubsport

    Hi guys

My mate has a vr clubsport he was gonna trade in and they offered him around $10,000 It's in great condition and has under 100,000 klms on it.

Was wondering if he's getting a good deal or not and was wondering what it is worth roughly.

A bloke i know just paid 25k for a VS Series II Clubsport with 23,000km's.
Another mait paid the same money for a VR GTS 6spd manual 215kw with 92,000km's.

Its definatly worth more than 10, closer to 15 if not a little more.

Buy it for 10k yourself, drive it, and enjoy it.

For what its worth i was offered 6k for my 1996 Statesman VS Series 1, trade in on a $25,000 car, considering you very rarely see any around the 96 mark under the 10-11k bracket.

Trade-ins are always the worst way to sell a car. Private sale is best by about 33% however I know it is not always possible to do. I get my kids to find the car they want, preferably from a private sale, borrow the full money from a credit union, approach the seller with a CASH offer, buy the car, then sell your old car privately and when its sold put that cash against the loan. This gives you a good credit rating plus you get a better deal buying and selling.
Trade in offer = $10000 car is worth at private sale $13000.....you gain $3000
Buy at caryard = $15000 buy private for $12000....save another $3000
    Thats $6000!
Caryards offer a degree of security and make it very easy at change-over but it costs.

FIRSTLY MATE NO CAPS LOCK, On the internet its considered shouting, which is really rude. Secondly your ride says fully sick VL, which to me says what sort of person you are. Third if someone payed $25000 for a VRSS they should be shot, taken to the hospital and brought back to life so they can be shot again.

Why would a stock V6 VN be better than a VRSS thats "worth $25,000". No offence to VN drivers, the VN is a pretty ok car. If someone paid $25,000 i wouldnt be buying a VN, i would be buying a WHII Statesman

(My dad recently brought one for $30K which included all the extra options, 60,000Kms, Calais International Rims, 17" i think, 24 Month warenty and roadside assist from Ballen Holden (Werribee)). For the $5k loan you could be driving that, and no matter WHICH way you look at it, there is no way a VN is better than that.

Look normally i dont mind people having their own opinion, in fact i like to hear what others have to say but mate you are full of shit. And with a name like "realist ######" i guess what can i expect......

BTW keep your fully sick spelling "beta" for chatting up 13 year old sluts on dodgy internet forums that turn out to be 45 year old single fat blokes......which is ironic because its an eerie look into the future for you.......

    Cheers mate.

We all have to learn somewhere. I read these forums for a few months before i became a member. Its fine to ask questions, people wont think your an idiot or anything. We all have to learn somewhere. It just annoys me when people who clearly know nothing will argue to death even when there wrong. Ive asked some pretty simple quetsions over the time, and ive only ever got 100% positive help back, and in turn i will help out wherever possible. That is after all the aim of these forums.

    Cheers

wtf is a realist ###### anyways? i can't stand some of the forums because they are full of people abusing each other (in most cases both parties are wrong but make it up with sturboness) There is a VR clubsport where i live for sale for about $15k-$18k, original everything (to some people thats a plus) not sure how many k's

Yeah but theres a difference between an $18K clubsport and a $25K SS, i aint trying to cause an arguement, im just telling "realist ######" to stop wasting time and bandwidth.

lol nah man i agree with ya totally, bad wording on my part probably. most of the cars around my part would've had a good flogging which is prolly why the price is down. thats why i bought my car from melb, i got in and took it for a test drive and it was the best vs v6 ive driven, i can tell and old man used to drive it...
