knocking noise from front righthand side

hey all i have a knocking noise coming from the front right hand side. It only happens when you go over slight bumps in the road only very slight big bumps it doesn't.
When i did the rotors the other day the front right hand bearing made a slight noise could this be the culprit? If not what else should i be looking for. it sounds like someone knocking on a hard wood with a fair tap on a thick chunk of wood.

check over your brakes...the bolts that hold the caliped onto the retainer brace are designed for single use only and they could be loosening themselves... if the brakes seem ok check your suspension bushes

suspension bushes are all good and brakes are all good as well.

A friend had a bad rattle type noise coming from the right front of his vr commy.We tracked it down to being the heater tap ,it had been bent over a tiny bit on its mount,and was rattling against the inner part of the guard.It sounded bad but was too easy to fix. Just bent it off the guard a bit.its worth a look.His was a V6 ,not sure if heater tap is in the same place on the V8 though.

It can be a loose wheel bearing.
Lift that side up and choke it or whatever and try to wobble the wheel.
Just grab the top and the bottle and pull/push the wheel.

its definately the bearing got a price on them today and apparently there 220ea is this right?
how i know is you spin the wheel and you can hear there is grit inside the bearing.
