VS rear seats

ok this might be stupid but i own a vs series 2 acclaim and im kind of disappointed with the back seats as only the middle seat can only fold down and its really hard for me to fit my surf board in, i was wondering if anyone has ever made one of the other seats fold down by adding a hing and removing the hooks, yer please let us know and if you have to get it engineered or anything thanks

i would just either take out the left or right backrest which would allow enough room for your surf board

The problem you'll have, is the opening is only a certain size (and you don't want to be cutting the metal there) so even with the other seats down (or removed like the guy above suggested) you'll still only have the same size hole to work with.


Thats why i bought a wagon, so i can cart larger stuff without issue (aswell as a modded wagon is rare comparing to sedans)

hey famous have u taken out the rear seats in your vs its a annoying u have to take out the whole seat then take a few bolts for the seat and im not going to do that all the time thats y i was thinking of one side folding down

Just leave the bolts out of the bottom of the backrests and you can pull them out and put them back in without pulling out the bottom bit
