mine used to do it aswell
turns out it was the computer
got one off ebay for 50 bux
good as new

It's all a process of elimination - first check for logged fault codes: Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)
If nothing shows there next is cleaning the throttle body.
If it stalls if you put your foot on the brake with the car not in motion (stopped) it could be the brake booster buggered.

could be iac valve,(idle air control).Usually it would throw up a code 35.Did any codes show up?

Mine does that too. It has its moments. I can drive mine for days without a problem and then it will happen all of a sudden.

I have changed air idle control, removed throttle body and even raised my idle a touch. Does yours surge from time to time because mine does.

Mine doesnt throw any codes either. Good luck in finding your prob. Im getting sick of spending $$$$ on my car to troubleshoot probs. lol
