putting a chip in my vs ute.

Hey guys was thinkin of changing the chip in my ute.

its a 99 vs ute so its got the vt 5litre running gear, i read on here some guys a re-tuning some chips and selling them on ebay, is it safe to buy one off there or better to get one thru a performance shop and that??? if it is fine to get one thru ebay could some one give me a link to a good person to buy one off if any one knows of some one it would be great

and also could i install it myself with out to much dramas and if some one could give a detailed description of where and how to install it... cheers

theres about a bazillion threads on chips around here. use the search function. also the HOW TO area has info on removing and installing memcals
