Default Advice on a potential new car

Hey, Im looking at upgrading my current car to a VS Acclaim. Just wondering whether people think the price seems fair for the car.
    Its a White 1997 VSII Acclaim, 3.8 V6 with 184,000kms.
Looks to be in fairly good condition, no major scratches or dents.
Just has stock wheels and stuff.
Its advertised for $3,999 was just wondering if they seemed an alright price.

    Cheers

I think that's a reasonable price. They're a good car, I have one and am slowly turning into something more . What are you upgrading from?

if you go the VR youll probably get it for a lil cheaper. plus the buick engines have more low down torque and tend to last longer. they are the same cosmetics just might save your self some dollars

the acclaim was the only model to have irs abs and airbags as standards. but they were always options on all models across the range. you may find one that was optioned when bought new

i'd say price a bit high mate, bargin them!
    my mate got a 96' berlina with 160 000k's for $2900
i paid $3000 for my series 2 5 speed manual vs exec with 1600 00k's, 2 air bags, irs, abs, metallic paint, fe2

    So i'd say bargin!
